Production

Our commitment lies in cultivating a deliberate and sustainable approach to clothing production, responding directly to demand. Therefore, we only produce under order to minimize the consumption of raw materials and reducing waste generation.

 

  Product sourcing

We currently work with different manufacturers that offer us access to sustainable materials like recycled cotton and recycled bamboo for a small selection of products.
  Repurposed overstock
We also make an effort to save pre-existing clothing pieces by sourcing our products from closing companies. While our current collections may not be entirely composed of recycled garments, our goal is to progress towards achieving a higher recycled production in the near future.
 
Recycled embroidery thread
In crafting our products, we exclusively utilize Polyneon Green embroidery thread, a material manufactured from recycled transparent PET bottles. This underscores our dedication to sustainable practices, transforming recycled materials into distinctive and eco-conscious creations. 

The process of giving this post-consumer waste a second life as thread takes many steps:

  1. Recycling plastic bottles gives existing materials a chance at a new life.
     
  2. After the PET bottles are collected and prepared, they are shredded into flakes, …
     
  3. which are then formed into chips.
     
  4. Those are melted into a liquified form and extruded through microholes. 
     
  5. The recycled fibers are spun and turned into an amazing new thread which won't create new waste: Polyneon Green.

 In our pursuit of providing a diverse and customizable range of products, we extend the option of both recycled and non-recycled items. This deliberate choice not only caters to a spectrum of color preferences but also ensures a variety of product types for clients looking to personalize their orders. How do we process with non-recycled items?

We want to specify that all non-recycled items are sourced and ordered only upon specific demand, ensuring a tailored and efficient production process. By adopting this practice, we actively contribute to reducing excess inventory and promoting a more environmentally conscious and responsible consumption model.

 

 

 

LOCAL INITIATIVE

PICK UP IN MONTREAL

All customers who can easily travel to the Montreal area are invited to pick up their order at our production workshop. You can save up on delivery costs.

When placing an order it is possible to select pick up option, please make sure to confirm the time of meeting with us prior to coming to confirm someone will be present on site.
